In the spirit of giving and paying it forward, Spanx creator Sara Blakely is offering 1,000 female entrepreneurs $5,000 each for their businesses to help lessen the burden that the Coronavirus quarantine has put on small business.
Each recipient also receives a free annual pass to more than 80 MasterClass instructors that offer courses useful for entrepreneurs.
From the Spanx website:
Eligible applicants are women majority owned businesses and nonprofits with annual revenues less than $5 million for the last 3 years, have at least one additional paid employee, and fewer than 50 individuals on staff. Sole Proprietors are not eligible to apply. Business must be in good standing and incorporated as a legal entity, with a valid EIN number and be able to show the Covid-19 pandemic is causing hardship.
