Helping the IRS Address Systemic Issues

We are pleased to announce that Sandra G. Johnson has been appointed to the IRS Taxpayer Advisory Panel (TAP) for a three-year term. The TAP is a federal advisory committee that works closely with the IRS to identify and address systemic issues, providing valuable recommendations to improve tax administration and the overall taxpayer experience.

In her role, Sandy will collaborate with fellow TAP members to analyze and propose solutions to challenges within the IRS, engage in outreach efforts to inform individuals and organizations about the TAP’s mission, and serve in an advisory capacity to the IRS. Her appointment reflects her lifelong dedication to advocating for taxpayers and enhancing the efficiency and fairness of the tax system.
